The Lombard Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for the Golf Course Shelter project located at 2400 Butterfield Road, Lombard, Illinois 60148. Work will include temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures/maintenance, earthwork operations, concrete paving and footings, unit paving removal and reinstallation, shelter installation, new electric service, shelter lights and outlets, and turf grass sod.

Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 10:00 A.M. on April 3, 2025 from Accurate Reprographics, 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60563, (630) 428-4433, www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available at the non-refundable cost of reproduction.

Bids will be accepted at the Lombard Park District, Sunset Knoll Recreation Center, 820 S. Finely Road, Lombard, Illinois 60148 during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Lombard Park District, Golf Course Shelter” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 AM on April 17, 2025. Bids will be opened on April 17, 2025 at 10:01 AM at the Lombard Park District, Sunset Knoll Recreation Center, 820 S. Finley Road, Lombard, Illinois 60148.

All bidders will be required to submit proof of Bid Security in the form of scans of Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Lombard Park District. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such bond or check. The successful bidder, as determined by the Lombard Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages for the locality of the Lombard Park District, to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let.

The Lombard Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Lombard Park District. The Lombard Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
