The Village of Dwight does hereby invite sealed bids for Renfrew Park Phase One. Work will include

temporary soil erosion and sediment control, site preparation, earthwork, subsurface drainage, asphalt

paving, concrete paving, curbs, and footings, picnic shelter installation, playground and fitness equipment

installation, play surfacing (engineered wood fiber and poured-in-place rubber), sport court color coating,

chain-link fence, tennis and pickleball net and post installation, site furnishing installation, turf grass

seeding and landscaping.

Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after

11:00 am on January 29th, 2025, from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville,

Illinois 60563, 630.428.4433 or www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available at

the non-refundable cost of reproduction for each bid package.

Bids will be accepted at the Village of Dwight, 209 S. Prairie Ave, Dwight, Illinois 60420, during regular

office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and

address, and “Bid for Renfrew Park Phase One,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no

later than 1:00 pm on February 18, 2025. Bids will be opened on February 18, 2025, at 1:01pm at 209 S.

Prairie Ave, Dwight, Illinois 60420. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a

Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village

of Dwight.

The successful bidder, as determined by the Village of Dwight, shall be required to pay, and to agree to

pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS

130) for the locality of the Village of Dwight (Livingston County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic

needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and

all subcontractors shall be required to submit certified payrolls online no later than the tenth day of each

calendar month for the immediately preceding month.
